If you are interested in warships and Naval history you will not be disappointed. We have taken the VIP tour including a guided tour and a visit in the museum. Overall a four hour stay without noticing the time passing by.

Great guide, Beautiful Ship, Gives (HOPEFULLY) people an appreciation for what has been given for this Country!! The museum needs at least a couple of hours for children to enjoy the entire complex in addition to the ship itself.

Always a great experience. Many of the volunteers actually served on the ship. Don't miss this floating and talking piece of history!!

This is a retired US Navy warship that has been opened and adapted for tours and for a view about how life on a battleship existed. The ship is in beautiful condition. There are self guided tours of the main deck and spaces or guided tours by the "old salts" who may have served on the ship at one time.... More

You are able to travel almost everywhere on this battleship without the tour, but you will miss fun facts from knowledgable veterans. We toured the engine room and all of the associated areas. Then we wandered and wondered until we could hardly take another step. This is not a place to visit if you are afraid of tight spaces, you... More

Went here with my retired parents from out of town and my 5 year old daughter. History of Hampton Roads, military, oceanography, are all covered. Of course the USS Wisconsin is another huge draw. We spent 3.5 hours wondering were time went and much more I'd like to see but couldn't in that time.

We went with three children and four adults. On the way home we talked about our most memorable place and all three children loved the battleship. We did THE guided tour. It is worth the money and the extra money you pay for the tour goes to maintaining the battleship which is part or American history. The Museum has interactive... More

Fun and educational day!!! The tour of the ship was very informative. The museum had hands on activities for the kids and had some very interesting pieces from the ship. Kids had a great time and were exhausted by the end of the day.
