I visited this beautiful garden last week, but have been a member for almost 20 years. The garden is one of my favorite places to visit, and each time I visit, there is something new blooming. From the rose gardens near the entrance, to the Japanese garden, to the tropical house, to the butterfly garden, there is something for everyone... More

We had such great weather on our spring break that we decided to head to the Botanical Gardens- what a treat! We hit thousands of azaleas in bloom for color everywhere! We jumped on the free tram to get an overview of everything as well as a ride back to the visitor center at the end of the day. The... More

Norfolk Botanical gardens are spectacular in any season. There is always something to see. April is the peak time when azaleas and pink cherries are in bloom. Beautiful beyond words! The unique thing about the garden is that beside beautiful plants it has several lakes and ponds, a boat trip along the canal, and an airport berm, where you can... More

Wonderful place to visit. Be prepared to walk long distances. Tram will take you to different areas of garden. Can get on and off at several points. Lunch available, good food, reasonable prices. Beautiful azaleas in bloom. Summer will have many plants in bloom.

My wife and kids (all girls) love to come and see the flowers. This is one of the better ones around the nation that we've been too.

This place is huge with so many interesting plants and flowers. I was impressed with the variety. The snowball viburnum were in full bloom while we were there. The rose garden was not in bloom yet but must be spectacular. We brought our 11-year-old and 8-year-old. They enjoyed it too. Great children's garden. The tram ride is worthwhile. Lots of... More

My visit to the Botinicals Garden was very , very enjoyable. The flowers were so beautiful and my rideon the garden train was also fun. I also enjoyed the view of the nearby airport. A most definite must see.

My daughter was married there in July, 2011. A great place to have a wedding and reception. If you can get the chance to marry off someone this is a good place.

This was quite an enjoyable visit. There were many different plant and trees to see. There are signs and information, so you can learn something during you visit. If you are gardening enthusiast, this is a must-see. There is a child play are with a splash pad.

I have gone here a few times with friends and it is always a spectacular place. We went once for the walk-through for the holiday lights event which was really well done and amazing to see. I am so glad we went to the walk-though and not the drive-though. I feel like you would miss a lot driving through. We... More
