It got better as we took our journey through the entertainment offered. The tour of the port lodge was informative and relaxed as we followed the audio and map. We then sat outside in the sun to taste the white and Tawny samples and hear...More

The tour was really interesting as I had no idea how Port was made and how traditional the whole process still is. I really felt it was good value for money at £12 including two tastings. We also ordered some cheeses to go with the...More

This port house features a very informative self-guided audio tour that takes you through the cellars and many exhibits which thoroughly explain the process of making port. Depending upon how much you wish to read, the tour takes approximately 1 and a half hours. It...More

The best place in Vila Nova where you can taste wines. The place is amazing, atop the hill with a breathtaking view of Porto. Peacocks in the courtyard and beautifull plants with flowers complete the set.

Hello, We didn't book in advance, we just turned up and it was pretty quiet (about 3pm on a weekday). The tour is by audio guide and that's included in the price, provided to you when you pay.

Not a problem. Tours are quite frequent in English given by a very enthusiastic guide. Enjoy a glass whilst waiting for the next tour.
