What a lovely place to spend our afternoon, staff were so friendly and helpful; Graham's Lodge is situated near the top of the Vila Nova de Gaia basins South Western corner. Our Guide was particular helpful and friendly, Rafael, he made our visit so special, Rafael spent extra time with us in the Vintage Port Tasting room, showing lots of... More

This was our first port lodge tour and tasting and surpassed our expectations. Our tour guide was informative and had a good sense of humor. One can choose from several levels of tasting. We learned a lot. I especially enjoyed my conversation with Joao prior to the tour and gained his perspective on being a native of Porto. This was... More

The previous reviewer beat me to the most appropriate title, as we certainly did arrive at Graham's Port Lodge in a storm – it possibly wasn't the best day for a cable-car ride from the top of the bridge. Like many others we trekked up the hill on foot, but I think there's a bus. The tour guide was pleasant... More

A fascinating and interesting insight to the port wine industry of Porto. You are given an in depth insight into how port wine is made, produced, exported, the family history etc. After the historic tour, you are given the opportunity to try (and if you like it it) buy the locally produced wine.

Beautiful. There are different kind of tasting packages, we were three people and.we picked three different ones - they let you share the packages so you have a more complete tasting experience. Guided tour of the cellar first (our guide João was super) and then tasting in a beautiful wooden-style room with a breathtaking view. The terrace of the restaurant/bar... More

Worth the long walk up, this has stunning views across the Ribeira and port area. The tour is well worth the cost. The first Port exporter to grow vines in the Douro area, now run by the Symington family. For 17 euros you get the tour and to try 6 different Ports. There is also the oppotunity to pair the... Visited with friends for tour & tasting. Tour informative & at 30 mins not to long. 3 ports to taste at end & then sat outside with great view of city. Good value. Thoroughly recommend.

Grahams does a nice job with the tour and lets you pick from a variety of tasting, so our group both 3 different ones and we were not disappointed. Good explanations, a decent tour and some very well priced Ports. I checked at some of the discount houses in the states and these prices were at least$10 less than you... More

Superb tour, well worth the visit! Our guide Filipa provided a fun yet informative tour of Grahams Port Lodge. Her enthusiasm for the place was infectious and the port tasting was excellent. The views of the river and valley from the grounds were stunning.
