World famous; inside is lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, where live classical music concerts are performed every day. You can cross the lake on a boat at the end of the concert. BEWARE, don't get deceived by another small caves in Porto Cristo, their road signs can be confusing.

A good place to visit. Been at least 3 times over the years. Not the greatest value for money though. The caves are well lit and you can take photos inside but without flash. The photos from a phone or compact camera just don't do it justice though so to get good pictures you need something more professional. Not for... More

We were picked up by our tour guide at 8:30 and returned to our hotel at 5:30 due to our tour package. We arrived there at noon with very less crowd. The cave was remarkable and wonder how it was preserved over the years. The piano piece played by the lady on the boat was beautiful. It was a nice... More

Very awe inspiring visit spoiled slighty by them allowing photos inside. It was very busy and you are following a crowd and constantly have to stop while people took photos. Same people then pushing past to get back to the front which can be dangerous in a dark steep area ( found out the hard way ) Flash phote also... More

The caves are stunning and the concert and boat ride at the end are magical. However, only four stars because it is 15 Euros each (no concessions) and the guide only said about a sentence or two about each area. If you were at the back (we went off season. But there were still about 50 people on our tour)... More

This is one of the most beautiful caves I have ever visited. The lake in the cave is huge and they have concerts there. The acoustic is just breathtaking. A must visit when you are in the area!

I went here and walked through the caverns and the walls looked wet but when you felt them they weren't At the end of the walk you were given a boat ride which was ok for a half day trip out The town of porto cristo is in more of a Spanish style and it is like stepping back into... More

We arrived for the first tour. Thankful we did as the car park was filling up with buses and other tourists as we were leaving. Very spectacular as you walk in though the caves. At the last cave you sit down as if at a theatre. The stage is a under water lake. Lights go out and three like rowing... More
