This is a desert with wonderful long beachfront walks. The sunsets are spectacular. Take water when walking here and swim gear for a refreshing swim. There's a cafe on the beach which makes for a nice destination. Round trip from Corralejo to cafe on Flag beach would be about 2 hours.

the national park is on the outskirts of Corralejo on the way to the airport. It feels like you are elsewhere completely. It's worth taking a bag with some drinks. There are only two hotels here that were erected before they decided that no more would be put up to preserve the site. There's a lot of decent photo opportunities... More

This has to be the best beach we have ever visited. It stretches for miles, has fantastic views, nearly always sunny, clear seas and not crowded. Very special.

I took a car and drove arround the island and I can tell that here is the nicest place of the island. Just park your car and walk away from the road and you'll be surrounded by a well preserved desert, awesome to take pictures. Don't forget to bring water

Absolutely gorgeous beach - white sand and beautiful blue water. Worth taking a taxi from Corralejo for a visit, there is also a taxi stand to get one back. Unfortunately the hotels are a massive eyesore so you will have to look the other way!

Stunning beaches and scenery and lovely beach bars/cafes....7euro app from Corralejo in taxi. The weather turned stormy the day we went so we huddled together in one of the cafes and it turned one of the highlights...we all huddled together sharing tables with strangers who became friends ...in an hour the rain was gone and normal service of sun sea... Saharan sand blown over from North Africa helps to form these fantastic dunes and beach that seem to go on for ever the water is so clear and inviting, along its coastline there are semicircle rock wind breaks created from volcanic rock to give some shelter from the breeze a real suntrap

There is not much scenery on this island but if you want a leisurely peaceful walk this is a must. Easy to reach and flat

Well worth a visit or stay, knocked spots off caleta de fuste beach which is where we were staying, we hired a car to go one day, did not want to go back! Like being in the Caribbean!!

No public transport to locus, you will have to hire a car ,taxi or cycle from Corri but it's worth it, take a pack lunch and relax in one of the most beautiful shore lines on the northern hemisphere
