Booked a day trip to Cadaques in town office and when I realised that with limited mobility I would have to walk 3/4 mile from our accomodation the lady in the office was very helpful and arranged a lift with the owner ! On the way back we did not expect the same generosity and started walking from the port to find the owner chasing after us and took us back to accomodation ...great customer relations. The boat trip is fairly uneventful, not much to see but Cadaques was very photogenic , a gem of a little town and well worth the visit. Staff on the boat were very friendly.

The weather was perfect and the boat wasn't a fifth full - brilliant. The trip along the coastline was blowy but fun even when a seagull did his business on me while feeding them. The so called 'high light' of the trip was the glass bottom boat to see the marine life in the natural park - extremely disappointing. I have seen more fish and better rock formations snorkelling off Montgo.

Used this firm to get to Cadaques for a day trip, nice calm journey on the way out. Boat was clean and staff polite. On the way back the journey was choppy with water coming over the top and swamping everyone on the top deck. Not a very enjoyable experience for my children, a 45 minute log flume ride! Good experience on the whole

Could've been an enjoyable trip, but the boat shouldn't have left port today. Firstly, there was no safety briefing. No explanation of what to do in an emergency or where the life jackets were stored - if any at all. The crew didn't speak any English despite dodgy multilingual recorded announcements over the PA system. The sea was choppy. At first the buoying was fun, your stomach churned a little which we put down to acclimatising to the sea. The boat was rather large so to have it soar as high as it was doing was testament to how rough the sea was. We reached Iles Medes and enjoyed looking at the fish through the glass panels in the hull. The weather and sea was calm for this portion and had we returned to port in similar conditions, we'd have been reasonably satisfied with our 2 hour trip. The return leg was nothing short of harrowing for some of the passengers. The boat was leaping into the air at the front. People were vomiting everywhere and many who weren't looked visibly green in the face. But not me. To be fair to the crew, they mopped up any sick quickly, but it wasn't pleasant. Although the crew can't be responsible for the weather, any experienced captain and crew would have cancelled the trip before leaving. It leads us to believe it was profit before provision of an enjoyable trip.

We enjoyed the Mare Nostrum trip out to the Illes de Medes, which we did partly to relax after doing lots of watersports. The views of the coastline were fantastic and it was great learning more about the area. Going down into the glass hull of the boat was a bit disappointing because we had seen more interesting fish while snorkelling off the beach at Port d'en Perris near the Punta de l'Olla. Also, we couldn't help noticing that the English announcement was of much lower quality than the Spanish, German and French. Some of the words weren't even proper English words. All in all, though, a fun experience.
