Monkey Haven is quite small, so it can easily be done in a morning or afternoon. Kids had a great time and the talks given by the staff were informative. A lot of the animals have been rescued from some appalling conditions, so they're doing...More

Well kept attraction featuring a variety of primates and birds. All of the animals have been rescued from private owners or rehomed from zoos and they felt well cared for. The keeper talks were really informative and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s...More

It was a nice fun couple of hours. It was cheap and well kept. The reptile talk was cool and we got to hold a snake. The place is quite small with not much going on but worth a little look.

Expectations were high, but this place has as many birds as it has small monkeys, the same as you see in a pet shop, was expecting a little more to be honest.. but that's due to my lack of knowledge about monkeys! In my mind...More

Charlotte gave us some really good talks about the different animals kept at the haven. She was informative and knowledgable. It was suited to all ages. The place itself is lovely, relaxed and friendly. Good for families and couples who love animals.

Hi, we’ve visited in the rain before but not with a 3 year old ! Some enclosures have a little area to stand under but not many of them so mostly outside. Still worth a visit though, great little place.

Yes. The area is outdoors and is relatively flat. Ramps are used instead of steps so all the monkeys will be easily seen.
