I celebrated my birthday with a large group of friends here and we attended yesterday. The treetop experience was good, however a few things to point out: - Toilets looked like they’ve never been cleaned with cobwebs period pads everywhere and had no rolls of toilet paper in any cubicle. - The intro wasn’t very organised. The lady that worked there told us to read the signs and put what we read into practice before playing out the audio. It should have actually been the other way round because that way we’d know what we’re actually doing as the audio was more informative that a little poster. - I saw a lady that started the treetop challenge who realised it wasn’t for her as she had a big panic attack on the first challenge, as she was up already. The staff were not comforting at all whist the lady was crying her eyes out and scared. The male staff members made her do the first challenge and didn’t think to come up to get her. - The signs were not very clear on where you had to go next. Random people in the course were all asking each other because it didn’t make a lot of sense.

Excellent and enjoyable day with my family (husband and two sons aged 11 and 15) at Cockfosters (London) site. Alex was incredibly kind, professional and caring. We are exhausted but it was worth it. Please wear old clothes trainers, gloves and tie your long hair back. You need to be brave and be able to climb a rope ladder at heights but as long as you safely clip yourself on and off, you will be fine. We are a bit sore as when you land from the zip lines it’s usually in your behind and it can hurt! Good luck and highly recommended day out.

Lovely summers day - not too hot and not to cold, ideal weather for this challenge. I was really nervous and was only there to be the supervising adult for my 13 year old. The staff were really patient and went through safety checks thoroughly. After the first Tarzan jump I struggled to climb up the net and they helped me out. If you choose not to continue after the first site u can get a refund. I chose to continue! By the time we had been round the course a bit, attaching the harnesses & clips becomes second nature. Seem to be alternate routes, we took a guess at which were the easy & difficult routes, it wasn’t always clear. Seemed some families went the wrong way so sometimes there was a traffic jam high up on the trees! There are people on site and you have an emergency whistle. I was able to shout down to an attendant when we couldn’t work out how to get across one of the ropes. I’m ok with heights and wobbly bridges, so the challenging part got me was anything that needed arm strength - climbing the rope ladders & nets. We looked forward to the zip lines!!

Well I was a little bit apprehensive being an “older lady” but WOW what an experience! I had the most amazing time with my family, we all enjoyed the climbing and then the zip wires (my favourite). Staff are helpful and explained things well. So much to do, exciting and thrilling at the same time, we can’t wait to go again. I would highly recommend, I think the cost is reasonable for a most enjoyable day! Well done GOAPE.

I loved the zip lines at the end of each site! Obviously, the difficulty of the site goes up. 1 being the easiest etc. The staff was amazing! Each one we talked to asked how we were and what the best part of each site was! There was a Cafe within 5 minutes of the Go-Ape reception, toilets within 2 minutes. Water stations and hand sanitise stations at each site and around the whole facility. The 2nd site Tarzan swing is amazing. However, on-site 5 the Tarzan Swing is pretty scary and I recommend crouching when you jump; close your eyes if necessary. Always always always follow the instructor's instructions and always keep all safety lines and harnesses attached. Do remember to have a restful night's sleep and have some food/ water before the climbing starts. The nature was amazing and this is definitely great for thrill-seekers
