Unfortunately when we visited there was a lot of scaffolding up so we couldn't get to a lot of it but it is an interesting place, has a nice visitor centre with excellent little café, informative exhibition, will revisit when scaffolding down

Did the 'dungeon' visit, really nice and knowledgeable staff, very friendly shop too, can't wait for the repairs to be completed to the castle. Also went to the proms night, excellent, great fun and good music

With a new cafe and learning center it's so much better .kids loved cafe and dressing up.colouring and plenty to do and look at and when castles finish will be a fantastic sight.
