So as a resident of Pontefract since birth, this has become a firm favourite for breakfast. The food is delicious and the staff are always so friendly and make us feel welcome. The farm shop is beautifully laid out with something for everyone. There is always a butcher on the counter should you have any special requirements and nothing is... More

Really disappointed at our visit. Service extremely slow and food poor. Had to send mine back as it wasn't what I ordered by the time it arrived the rest of the table had finished theirs. A food was ok but nothing special or memorable.

Having been to the old Moo cafe during the day a couple of times and left feeling impressed I have been looking forward to trying out the new restaurant on an evening, Beast by Night, it was worth the wait. The old barn is done out really well and the decor reminding you of what it once was. I was... More

Went to try out the new restaurant at Farmer Copleys The Beast Restaurant, and will definitely be going back. We did book in advance & it was lucky we did as by the time we left it was quite full. Online menu isn't necessarily what you get, but the food was amazing nonetheless. The staff especially the waitresses were so... More

Me and my girlfriend decided to go for a belated valentines treat here since the moo cafe is our favourite place to eat we wanted to try the beast and this didn't disappoint. We were greeted by your charming waitress and sat us in a booth and presented immediately with table water (normally have to ask). The team were not... More

We really enjoyed our first visit to Farmer Copley's Moo Cafe. We had 2 small breakfasts which included bacon, sausage, mushroom, tomatoe, toast and a choice of either black pudding or beans. It was warm and very tasty. The service was good I would definitely recommend a visit.

Been going here for some years, now much bigger of course. Cafe was busy but found a table ok, two of us had the moo burger and were told it might be a twenty minute wait, but it was actually less than that. The burgers were good value and some of the best burgers we have had for a long... More

After visiting I feel the need to say afternoon starts at 12 not 2 I def think you need to rethink the times I honestly think you would benefit starting at 12 when we came at 2.30 I found it strange that they had run out of scones as part of the afternoon tea but offered a piece of cake... More

I love the new restaurant at Farmer Copleys - very spacious and tastefully decorated. We called in at 1.30pm on a wet Saturday afternoon and easily found an empty table. We ordered the special of the day, Lasagne, chips and salad. We were told when ordering it would be about 20 mins, which was fine. We enjoyed a beer and... More
