I came here today after visiting Chartwell and enjoyed the quick walk around. I didn't have the free tour but the placards and docents in the rooms are helpful enough. I wouldn't make a special trip to come here but glad I twinned it with...More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent visit to Quebec House. Apart from Chartwell combining a visit to Emmetts Garden would also be a possibility.

The nearest car park is the Westerham village car park, which is about a 3 minute walk away and provides free parking for 3 hours, (a ticket still has to be obtained though). The ticket office has a small exhibit about General Wolfe and the...More

Nicely preserved historic home, with much to teach about the key battle that won Canada for the British, as this was the home of General Wolfe who commanded the British forces. The home is very nicely displayed, with interesting hands-on activities in most rooms that...More

Our eldest granddaughter chose our visit to Quebec House and it was a superb choice! Although small looking, the house is full of interesting artifacts and the volunteers are amazing. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. One of our...More

A pleasant way to spend an hour or so, though a fairly small property. My husband in particular found this interesting, as he knew very little about James Wolfe and is very into military history. I don't think this would appeal to younger children, as...More

I left my car in the car park, which is about eighty yards away from this place. It was also free for three hours, though I did need a ticket. I was put onto the midday tour of the house and given a ticket. I...More

A very interesting property in Westerham, where Wolfe grew up and with lots of artifacts in the homely old property. The exhibition in the Carriage block of Wolfe's life is very interesting.

Hi Natasha, thanks for your enquiry. The tea room and gardens are outside the pay barrier, though the gardens are very small so there would not be much roaming involved. The main attraction is the house, which is free for... More
