This was on our must do list of visiting Newfoundland for a week. We had a great time and loved the scenery. Also saw bald eagles flying around, jelly fish,, and even a minke whale was out in the harbor while we were travelling through. The guides were really friendly and were sharing stories throughout the paddle. Everyone in the... More

My husband and I recently returned from a 6 day hiking trip with Gros Morne Adventure. We had an incredible experience and I would highly recommend this outfit for a truly memorable outdoor trip. The hikes were well thought out and adapted to the weather conditions. The guides always offered options for longer, harder hikes and less strenuous hikes. Accommodations... More

We opted out of the guide and just rented the kayaks for a few hours. The water and sights were amazing, but the staff treated us like we were a huge inconvenience - gave no tips or advice and were rude when we asked how to adjust the foot petals Oh well we still had fun, despite the service

We booked the day before for the 3 hr Nature Paddle and Aquarium Tour. We arrived in the morning and it was kinda rainy and the owner gave us the option to go out or cancel (with no charge if we opted out). Our family opted to go out (after all we were there) even though we had our 8... More

The significance of Gros Morne NP as a UNESCO World Heritage Site quickly became apparent as we hiked its spectacular landscapes with Sue and Bob Hick’s ‘Gros Morne Explorer’ group tour. The Park is truly a geological wonderland of ancient upheaval and glacial activity – where else can one stand on the exposed mantle of the Earth! This extremely well... More

Went Kayaking on Bonne Bay with our guide Alex. What a great experience. Excellent scenery and Alex was very knowledgeable of the area and surroundings. Highly recommend this adventure. Did not get to see any whales unfortunately but the trip was still worth while.

Our family really enjoyed the experience. They seemed well prepared for us, and the guides were both very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots to see around the bay. A great day, and one of the highlights of a great trip to Newfoundland.

Our week with Gros Morne Adventures to discover the park and its surroundings has been the highlight of our (2-week) trip to Newfoundland. Bob, Sue, and their staff all contributed to this memorable week. Thank you.

This was our second two hour guided Kayak tour. The other one was on the east coast. The three guides were in single kayaks and the fourth went in a double kayak with only one kayaker. We saw lots of bald eagles, but no whales or dolphins. We went in some shallow water and saw jellyfish and starfish. But the... More
