We stayed in Mandeville for a month, and had eaten at another Mexican restaurant in the area, but were definitely unimpressed. Then we tried Mi Mamacitas, and loved it...the people, the food, the service, the ambiance, and the price. Between 4 of us, we ordered all different items, and each was wonderful. The next week we got home late from... More

Mamacitas has a beautiful site on the water but the menu is limited and the food is just so so. It could be so much better as the drinks are good, the service was great and the location is so convenient. They need to step it up a bit.

Mamacitas Restaurant was open all afternoon, so we walked in around 4:00pm. We ordered from the hand-written menu up front, and we were soon eating lobster chunks in a traditional tomato spiced sauce - which arrived in a bread-bowl styled presentation (the "bread" was actually made from plantains). The flavors were really interesting and quite yummy. We also ordered a... More

Their are few restaurant options on the island of Puerto Rico. I had a meal of rice and beans and fried pork; a staple of Puerto Rico. Diners may be surprised by the bill; perhaps three times what they can get elsewhere. The quality of the food was OK. They predominantly appear to cater to tourists, which may be the... More

I am from Puerto Rico and have visited Mamacitas for dinner for about 8 times. I consider the dinner experience to be fair considering the good music, ambience, and good drinks. The food quality was about 6-7 out of 10. Today I decided to go with my girlfriend for lunch. The service was poor and the food was surprisingly expensive... More

The food tastes all right and the surroundings are nice. You have to go there two hours before you get hungry, the kitchen is extremely slow.

A really nice restaurant with great seafood. We had swordfish and tuna and was very satisfied. Nice to sit by the water.

This restaurant was delicious! Our server was a little awkward, but very attentive. Great red snapper and ahi steak! The drinks were good too. There are tables right by the docks so you can watch the fish swim by in the water. Just make sure you bring some big spray if you go at dusk, but they were nice enough... More

We had to wait for 45 min but it was well worth it. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable! Our waitress did a great job of keeping up with refills and request from us and tables around us! We will revisit next time we are in town.
