My son and I decided to take the Intro to Scuba session at the Sheraton Maui and I will remember this afternoon for the rest of my life. Our instructor Tim has lived a life that many of us dream of and does a great job of sharing his story while you are with him. This story gives you confidence... More

Tim took myself and my 10 year old daughter out in her first dive at the Sheraton Maui. It was wonderful- we saw several turtles and much more. It is a beautiful area to dive, Tim was a great instructor and very kind and helpful. He seemed to really enjoy working with kids which is a huge bonus! My 6... More

I was lucky to come across the booth at the Sheraton. I had a phenomenal beach dive around black rock with Tim. I highly recommend the dive and Tim was great. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw a number of sea turtles, an eel, octopus as well as a lot of beautiful fish. Tim showed me a great,... More

I did an Intro Dive with Brent at the beginning of my 2 weeks stay at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to get my PADI Open Water Diver Certification. I first needed to do an on-line course that took a few days to get through. Brent then took me through the water... More

I dove with Scott of Five Star Scuba at the Hyatt three times. Each dive, right off the beach, was fantastic. In addition Scott was a fantastic teacher. I have been diving for over twenty years and I learned more from him in three days than I had learned from anyone since I got certified.

So we had a great experience doing a surfing lesson the day prior and ended up speaking with Brent about either a snorkel trip or something along those lines wth my 12 year old son. My son does great in the water and Brett was a spectacular ambassador to diving for my son. Brent assured us he could make something... More

Dennis Tepu, dive instructor extraordinaire, created a great diving experience for me. It had been a while since my last dive, and I was looking for a mellow, relaxing opportunity to get back under the surface. Dennis took me out for about 45 minutes. We saw a sea turtle, eels, a frog fish ... it was just what I wanted.... More

We made two dives @Blackrock, both dives with instructor Stephen Hensley. He was really great and I can truely recommend that you go diving with him when you come to Maui . We made another dive with another company and the dive with Stephen was sooooo much bettet, kind and cunning. Thanks for the great dives

My wife and I have been fortunate enough to travel to Maui from Dallas for many years. We always stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort on Ka'anapali which is the perfect resort location. It has great beaches, golf and is only a five minute walk to Five Star Scuba. I always do 2-3 dives each trip. This year I dove... More

I brought my 18 year old daughter to Maui to complete her PADI open water certification. We had originally booked her open water dives with another dive shop and when we arrived for the dive they told us the instructor was not able to make it in. The guy working at the other dive shop then called Brent Bussell at... More
