We enjoyed seeing the wide range of animals and birds from this part of the world. These were our first closeup sightings of koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, dingos, little penguins, and more. The Tazmanian Devil didn't come out from its hiding place while we were there but we saw so much! The little cafe had a very nice snack and the... More

The kangaroos and koalas were so cute! You could pet and feed the kangaroos and have your picture taken with the koala. Be sure to join the feeding presentations. The zoo keepers share information about the animals as they feed them.

I really enjoyed coming to this zoo because I wanted to see some native Australian animals and that is exactly what this place offers. When you walk through you get into open areas where kangaroos walk around free and you are able to feed them and pet them - very cute! The koalas were super cute as well but if... More

It is no as easy as you may think to see wildlife in Australia. Feather dale is up close and personal. Only a 45 min train ride from Sydney, then a local bus brings you to their gate. Kangaroos and wallabies eat from your hands, magnificent birds and of courses many sleepy koalas (for an extra $20 you can have... More

Great animal encounters! We came here as part of our AAT Kings tour and it was great. Feeding the kangaroos and stroking koalas. The wombats and taz devil's were great too! Highly recommend!

Had a great time visiting and interacting with the animals. The Koala's are gorgeous, there are some freaky cool tasmanian devils! An incredible collection of birds. Staff is super friendly and there's lots of parking available if you are driving.

Took our little one for a birthday treat, loved the animals, can't wait until he is older so he can feed the kangaroos. It was a great day, will be back soon for another visit.

Part of a tour group so had a private tea & reception where they brought in a wallaby for information and close up pictures. We then wandered the park for over 2 hours seeing beautiful local birds, dingo's, kangaroos, crocodiles and many, many more. Very fascinating and had a great time here.

On our recent visit to Sydney for the Opera House's New Year's Eve festivities, we had to make another visit to this awesome wildlife park. Things have changed since we were there 11 years ago, but it has only gotten better. You were very up close and personal with all of the animals, especially the wallabys and roos. Our most... More

Hi Andrew, Thank you so much for your wonderful recount, recommendations and appreciation of our efforts. Your visit and feedback is immensely appreciated, as is your commitment to the Australian Koala Foundation and Cooper the Koala. Just between us, he's the most handsome Koala here at Featherdale (and he makes some beautiful babies!). We can't wait for your next visit!... More

We took some visitors from Italy here to show them some Australian animals, they were amazed they could feed the Wallabies, hold a Koala, listen to Kookaburras, see a Crocodile and much much more. great for the kids and families, anyone really. Easy to get around (no hills) I would recommend Featherdale to anyone.
