Here we have a winery that has some quality wines and yet unlike some wineries in the area do not charge for tasting- the staff were nice and friendly - we great with my 20 year old daughter who is starting to branch out of her "moscato" faze.the guy who served us our samples was fantastic- so I like their... Beautiful surroundings and spectacular architecture. Playground for children was a great feature too. Friendly staff and a wide range of wines. The downer was the food unfortunately. For $85 a head, three from our group of 8 ordered Scotch fillet. The scotch had large chunks of sinew and unfortunately close to 1/5 was inedible. The salmon too was borderline inedible.... More

We came to this from Vinetrekka tour. Our group has 4 adults and 2 kids (3,5 years old). 3 years old kid was not charged and has no food. However, 5 years old kid was charged and had adult food. I went through the menu and thought that my kid couldn't eat adult meal. Adult meal has wine and more... More

Wines were average although cider was excellent. Out your group of 50 odd was all looked after in the one tasting area but by ONE staff member....who did tastings and sales! In the end, we gave up. After 20 mins we had tried two wines. A shame.

I feel (and I sincerely hope) your review above is not for our property rather another one and you are confused with the names after visiting many. There are many wineries which include the word Yering in their name. We do not make, taste or sell cider and we do not host tasting groups of 50 guests. What you have... More

Old and new, a place with history. If you were to visit one winery int his region I would highly recommend Yering Station.

After visiting the Tasting Room and Gallery, we had a great lunch, which comprised barramundi accompanied by Yering Station's signature Chardonnay, all the while looking out over the Yarra Ranges. The service was good. Our family visitors from the UK were very impressed as were we.

We stopped at Chateau Yering today for a coffee and look around the beautiful gardens and decided to try some wine at Yering Station. We assumed it would be snobby based on previous experience (years ago). We were served by two lovely people who knew their wine, listened to what we liked rather telling us what we should like, and... More

We stopped in just for some wine tasting, but it is a great old property. Good wines and very friendly staff. Large. Would like to try lunch next time.

Good food, I would recommend the kangaroo entree. Good service without being intrusive.Definitely worth trying if you are in the area. Arrive a little earlier to do a wine tasting.
