It was fun driving around the Pinnacles and then spending time in the Education Centre. Great for photography.

We hired a car and self drove from Perth on a long weekend Saturday morning. There was a fair bit of traffic. We traveled in September and found it to be a comfortable 2.5 hour drive with great scenery and an abundance of natural wildflowers...More

Unworldly landscape. A virtual intergalactic experience. Well worth a visit. More accessible than a trip to the moon. Defiantly visit the gallery/shop. Very helpful and friendly staff.

An amazing and spectacular place where thousands of limestone pillars thousands of years old rise through the area. Spectacular and unique and well worth a visit. There is a 4k drive or a 1.5 signed walking trail across the sandy terrain. I have never seen...More

Fascinating place to visit, not too far off the main road. Easy access either on foot or you can drive thru in your vehicle. Plenty of places to stop for walks or photo ops. Saw emu and Bobtail lizards. Really interesting shapes, natural wind formed...More

This is the only place in the world to have a close experience with this natural structure, the best thing is you can drive around the Pinnacles and enjoy from different site, if you are lucky you can also come across with wild Kangaroo too

I would have a look at Hangover Bay, which is fairly nearby. The lack of light in the area would be great for star gazing, but as others have mentioned, be careful of the kangaroos around dusk. Hangover bay doesn't close... More

Yes I believe it is $12 per car. If you plan on visiting a number of national parks you can buy a park pass, it is cheaper that way. Yangchep is pretty close to Perth. Nambung is not, it is easily another 2-3 hours... More
