Had a lovely morning wandering around the museum. A very fun find! Enjoyed the historic house, film, museum, and boat shop. The docents are excellent and show the place so well. The museum is clearly the result of community effort, which makes it all the...More

I was just checking to see what was in the town. I came upon this museum. It looked very small, but I took a look anyway. It was much more. There is much here.

Nice place. We visited during an event and will be returning when things are less hectic. Looks like there is a lot to see and spend some time learning of the history of the area.

We stopped by well before the museum opened because we were on our way out of town, but still got to see a large variety of sailing vessels, accompanied by interpretive signs. Lovely location. Next trip we will get there during business hours.

This best part of this tour was taking the boat out on the river! Seeing Reedville by boat getting the history of the area by a local was awesome. Would recommend a stop here any day

The Fisherman's Museum in Reedville is worth a visit. It has a great display of local fishing life and diorama's of life in Reedville. They also have a full size replica of John Smith's boat that sailed the Chesapeake Bay.
