If you like this sort of stuff (architectural salvage, creative fabrications, art, furniture, etc.), then you'll love Black Dog! We've never seen the show, and didn't know anything about the place, but our kids (who live in Roanoke) insisted that we would love it! They were correct! We nosed around for a couple of hours, and saw too many cool... More

We went through Roanoke on our road trip specifically to shop here. There are so many unique things here that can really add interest to your home! They have consigners as well as Black Dog salvaged items, custom pieces, and branded merchandise for sale. Every one was friendly and helpful. We happened to see Mike Whiteside and he was just... If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, refurbished design, and not your furniture store look. Then you have to visit this place. I haven't seen the the tv show, visited many times before the show. Lots of accessory's, and furniture items. Just check it out.

Planned our return trip to Indiana from Florida specifically to go to Black Dog and we are so glad we did! Everyone was so friendly and there was so much to look at - we recognized a lot of treasures from watching the shows! We didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked but are planning... Shopping here was like an upscale treasure hunt. Loved the shop design and product line. New vintage designs mixed with truly old antiques makes the experience fresh and exciting ! We found a vintage Armani Silk Tie in amazing condition for $2.00. Could not believe it! We will definitely return to visit this upscale, unique retailer.

Be prepared to spend some time, and bring a truck, because there is no way you're going to get out of there in less than an hour, empty handed. The inventory is terrific smh unique, and the staff is extremely helpful and attentive.

After enjoying the show many times, we arranged our road trip route to include a stop at the store. Ended spending a few hours wandering through the treasures. Well worth it, especially if you are into restoration.

Amazing collection of architectural salvage, furniture and crafts. It was so much fun walking around to see everything. I wasn't familiar with the show before our visit but I'll be sure to look it up - if it's half as great as the store, I'll love it!

We spent an hour and a half going through the entire store. I could have easily spent twice as much time browsing. This shop would be great if I was doing a renovation and wanted to add a touch of vintage class!

Really enjoyed the walk thru this expense of history. So many relics & gems I'm glad we didn't bring a truck or I'd bn broke. Wat an amazing find inside & outside of these doors, lot filled with treasures, very impressed with the variety & culture bridges brought together. Something for everybody for sure.
