The volunteers in the visitor center are unmatched in friendliness and helpfulness! They gave me brochures, maps, suggested things to do, sites to see, deals all over the area! And we're quite entertaining!

Not only can you get lots of information here but it is also a great little gallery of local arts and crafts. People were so friendly--truly a small town feeling.

Made this our starting point and received a really friendly welcome introduction not only to the centre but also the town. With some on-site art exhibits and accessible studios this is a super facility and ideal starting point for your visit.

Many of the town artists work in small, public access studios in the same building with the Visitors Center...lots of their works are on display...great place to get information on local attractions...

Everyone was friendly. Some were dressed in period garb. Very informative. This is great place to visit when you have never visited here before. They also provided ideas for a return trip.

This is a great first stop to find out all the different stops and historical or fascinating places to go. Both the art director and main center volunteers were very knowledgeable.
