It's only a bay, but it sure is quiet. After the noise of Virginia Beach, it was a pleasant retreat.

Good food. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food even the little one. You can dock your boat there.

I live four blocks from the beach and a lot of locals go there. We have great restaurants within walking distance. I'm going to share a picture I took this morning of the sunrise.

I love this beach. this a smaller, quaint beach that is more personal and allows family members to spread out and have fun. Chicks beach is less populated and there if more free parking.

Cleaner and more friendly beach with lots of locals. Great place to visit, less crowd. The pier in the area is an excellent place to fish, much nicer than Va. Beach pier 17. The waves are much smaller which is more friendly for kids and...More

This "local's beach" is a gem if you can find parking. Restaurants not far away, but not exactly walking distance either, which means no bathrooms.

Chick's Beach gets very crowded on the weekends and you will soon figure out why. I prefer to go during the week. Super white sand. Very clean. Nice to swim from and even catch a fish or crab right at the shoreline.

We tried many beaches on this trip, but this one was by far the best. On Monday before the 4th of July, it wasn't that crowded, though we heard it was packed on the weekend prior. All the things that make a good beach for...More

It's a cute, quiet beach tucked away in a cute little neighborhood of seaside houses near some fantastic restaurants. Parking is a pain in the tushy, but if you're willing to pay $20 to Valet park at Buoy 44, or walk a little bit, you're...More

Chicks Beach is great for eating at one of the local restaurants and walking out to the beach for the sunset.

Be careful. I got a parking ticket for parking on the street near Boey 44 on a Sunday morning even though it wasn't labeled as no parking. Out of states plate early morning. Easy pickings.
