My babies 2 and 3, had a ball and we all enjoyed the Aquarium. A little pricey for the pictures but well worth it. This was by far the best part of our trip and one we'll never forget.

Looking for something to do in the morning and were told about the aquarium. Arrived at opening and the seals out front were showing off and getting fed. Some stuff inside is a little worse for wear, but overall not the worst place I've ever...More

We enjoyed our visit. The aquarium is in 2 buildings, connected by a nature walk. The kids liked the turtles roaming freely, the komodo dragon and the river otters. In between the 2 buildings is the adventure park (additional fee). Some of the obstacles looked...More

We had a fantastic time at the aquarium. The dolphin boat adventure was fun! Very clean and well Put together. All of the staff were very helpful. The walk to the second building took about 15 minutes down a nice walkway.

We went on a Wednesday... it was crowded... but I would agree, staff handle it well. I think there were a couple buses there from camps and what not. I would bet that Sundays are less crowded.

There is a parking lot adjacent to the Virginia Aquarium, and an additional lot just across the street. Parking is free.
