I went today with my children ages 10 and 13. When we arrived we decided to watch what was near and not to exceed more than 45 minutes walking distance. About 10-15 minutes into our walk we noticed how isolated this place is, you quickly...More

This was a good place for a bike ride through the beautiful trees. It is easy to get to but yet remote in the middle of Virginia Beach. The bike ride was easy.

Great nature park for hiking, fishing and anything on the beach. Recommend taking the tram tour upon arrival.

Not your typical State Park! Enjoy the pristine environment, native flora and fauna, the secluded trails and quiet retreat! This is an exceptional state park - for the entire family.

Thank you for your great tips for a camping trip to False Cape State Park. I will add that depending on how the wind is blowing, the flies are not bad all summer.

Are the bike paths paved or all dirt? I've got an 8, 10, and 13 yr old, so need to understand difficulty of biking. Can we access the beach/water over the dunes or is that restricted? Are we allowed to swim at the beach? Thanks!
