Heather Moore is such an outstanding hostess and so knowledgeable of the history of the plantation. The house is very well maintained and it was a pleasure to visit and touring during the day and night. We do want to go back again and do another investigation to capture even more evidence of the paranormal.

The Perry Plantation is a super interesting tour of an old plantation. The tour guide was superb in detailing what it was like when it was being lived in. She created a story that kept me entertained. Also the gift shop is very nice.

Vistited with another couple - had a bit of a problem finding it but we were totally surprised and satisfied at the completion. The tour guide ANNE from Pungo, I think was fantastic. Very explanatory, not boring, friendly, encouraging and it isn't often that you get "a hug" at the end of the tour. FANTASTIC AND WILL BE RECOMMENDED.

Enjoyed the tour of this historic home. The water where Grace Sherwood, "Witch of Pungo", was "ducked" is nearby. Very interesting history and the place is haunted too! You might even see the ghost cat (I didn't)! They offer paranormal tours as well as general house tours. The original structure was a courthouse and you can see the tree out... More

The property dates to the 17th century; the current structure, to the early 19th century. It is located in an attractive residential area with a limited view of the Lynnhaven River. Tours are on the hour--got there just in time. An attractive garden area leads up to the house. A docent provides an informative tour of the house and the... More

We enjoyed ourselves when we came. It was very interesting. We didn't see any ghosts. Our GPS went out as soon as we pulled up. It was weird. Very cool that its in a neighborhood. Didn't expect that. I wanna go visit again soon.

We had a wonderful visit to this home, that the city has allowed a subdivision to be built around. The guides were extremely informative and friendly.

Touring the Ferry Plantation House at 4136 Cheswick Lane in Virginia Beach, a site that dates to 1642 when Savill Gaskin started the second ferry service in Hampton Roads to carry passengers on the Lynnhaven River to the nearby county courthouse and to visit plantations along the waterway, is fascinating from the aspect that it reputedly is haunted by 11...
