The Jefferson Pools have been closed until further notice by orders of Bath County. Hopefully renovations will finally be done and the place not just abandoned. I love this place but gave it one star just for being closed.

Experience the springs at the Jefferson Pools in a natural pool. The Homestead has shuttles from the resort to the pools and reservations are required. The buildings are historic but also decrepit. I wish the Homestead would spend some money to maintain the structures.

Wonderful experience and would go again . Soothing and relaxing . Water remains at same warm temp year round . Very rustic , historic building . It is for " soaking " not swimming and my skin felt so soft after being in there ....More

Please renovate these buildings! I get it that Thomas Jefferson was here and that’s neat; however, the buildings have not been renovated or even touched, it looks like, since he was here last, which was about 200 years ago. The Omni Homestead charges $19 for...More

They say that Jefferson spent three weeks here for his arthritis pain. Probably the last time the place was cared for? Omni has their name on the door, but if Was the GM I would be afraid the roof over the women's pool would collapse...More

The history of this place is marvelous. The build are still as they were when built. The Ladies pool house is used for Coed bathing. It has wonderful small area where a flow of water come out of a pipe you can sit under.

I read the reviews ahead of time and was truly prepared for the state of disrepair the facility is in. I went into the "men's pool" which is deeper than the women's. I grabbed a floaty and just relaxed in the warm water, my head...More

This place looks like it probably did back when Jefferson was there. It's funky, the soak is a historical trip back in time. The changing area is less than acceptable, but it gets the job done. It needs a lot of TLC but was told...More

Okay, I get it. The pools have been there since 1761, but they are owned by The Homestead, and our driver told us that funds have been allocated for the MUCH NEEDED renovation; however, the historical society is involved and they can't make a decision...More

First ... there are many reviews that discuss the deteriorating condition of the buildings. They are old and need some remolding but they do not change the enjoyable hour floating in the warm springs. This place is full of history with US Presidents, Kings, and...More

I stay in Warm Springs and just pop in randomly. Never had a problem over many years. Enjoy.
