I visited Merchants Square last August '16. Lots of specialty shops and restaurants/delis. Very nice for families. Make sure to stop by and get samples at the Williamsburg Peanut Shop!

Wonderful farmer's market on Saturdays....flowers, soaps, vegetables- some unique like white eggplant & purple bell peppers- heirloom veggies, meat, cheese, worms, peanuts...don't miss coming here! You need cash for most stalls...you can have a quick breakfast from Aroma's coffee (croissants, muffins) while there.

Merchant's Square is always full of energy.The Farmers market is full of great local products. Friendly vendors and customers. Saturday's 8am to 12 pm. Worth a visit.

This is a great place to walk and enjoy the surrounding area. Especially nice when the weather is warmer and the sun is out. Plenty to see around the square and restaurants are nearby that cater to all.

Yes, Small shops in the area to visit. I wouldn't go on a really cold day but mild temperatures would be good to walk around outside.
