In the distance past, this place was full of reasonable priced items. This fake front doesn't hide that the same items are priced lower at Big Lots. It is no longer an attraction.

Been there 3 times. Has a nice pottery section, garden section, house and kitchen wares, wine section and grocery section with many oriental foods.

This "new" pottery is really a replacement for what was a historically great place to shop and find a world of items including the hand made pottery items that were crafted on site. Those outlet stores that were co-located are now in skirt mall down the road. Current owners/managers offer seasonal incenticves for shoppers. Well worth the travel down Ri... More

I had not been here for over 10 years. I must say the place has really been cleaned up and better organized. It is much brighter and easier to get around. But the quality of the merchandise has not improved. Very low quality at not-very-low prices. There are no bargains here.

When visiting friends in Hayes for the first time, they brought us to the old Pottery Factory. I was amazed at all the stuff and how inexpensive things were compared to other stores. It was like a treasure hunt. But I guess as with all life, things change with the times. The new stores are nice, but there is much... More

I'm puzzled with the bad reviews on this place. Maybe I'm to easily satisfied. I found the visit to the Pottery very enjoyable as I don't like shopping with big crowds of people clamoring over one another for bargains, having to look all over creation for a parking spot and then finding a lot of touristy "junk" in the stores.... Nice place to walk, sight see lovely pieces of pottery ( many different sizes, colors, shapes, styles), beautiful flowers. Easy to obtain exercise while walking

Great place to spend an afternoon or early evening. Beautiful stores but they are a bit on the expensive side. Sometimes though you do find great deals. The best though are the outdoor bands. Great music. Place is very clean and worth the drive.

I've hesitated reviewing the Pottery because I hoped against hope that someone would come to their senses and do something about this tacky monstrosity and try to recreate the feel of the original Pottery. But, after waiting many years I see that it's not to be. The new owner seems to have it fixed in her head that this is... More
