We are lucky to have friends that have a house here. We have been many times since 2009. Every time we go is better than the last. Very relaxing and not too far from the border

The crystal waters of Lake Whatcom are worth a whole day dedicated to its wonder. Grab a boat, grab a bite, take a dip. You will not regret any of it. Washington has some of the most prestigious bodies of fresh water around.

We enjoyed the beach at Lake Whatcom. We drove around a portion of the lake and loved the scenery. Homes are very pretty and the lake is enormous.

The lake provides a lovely setting for a ride or drive in a mobile cage along its shore. Not typical of mountain lakes in shape and that is refreshing.
