The Historic Fairhaven District is a quaint, charming community full of boutiques, shops, spas and restaurants. It's located in Bellingham, WA on the south side of town, north of Seattle and south of Vancouver, BC. It's surrounded by miles of hiking and biking trails with beautiful views of the bay. It has a little of everything for the entire family. It's great for a day trip or a long relaxing weekend!

Very nice place to stop in. Shops, good food, very touristy but hey, it works! Most stuff is pretty much to be expected. We did find a few really interesting jewelry shops that seemed unique complained to most. The Irish place right in the center was very fun.

Fairhaven is a great place to spend a few hours browsing and window shopping. This is the Historic District of Bellingham, so even newly constructed buildings have the brick flavor of the area. There is something for everyone here, a toy store for kids, an excellent book store, a variety of shops, a couple hotels, and plenty of mostly-casual restaurants.... More

It was a chilly, windy day in March but we loved walking around this lovely little town. Everywhere you look there is something to see, lots of great shops, coffee places, cafes. Certainly worth a detour off I-5 to check this place out.

Recently moved to the area in part to the very nice selection of local businesses in this neighborhood.

This is one of my favorite ways to spend the time; strolling around, getting tea, stopping into the shops and chatting with the owners, grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many great little eateries, and hanging out in the bookshop! I used to love going to Daphnes for drinks and then strolling along the pier, but alas,... More

Fairhaven District is so friendly and has so much to see and do. Great restaurants, shops and things to do all year round. The festivals are so fun.

My wife and I always enjoy a visit to Fairhaven, whether to shop, dine or both. Numerous shops with top quality goods and lots of variety and all within walking distance from wherever you choose to park.

Fairhaven is a local attraction for us since we live in Bellingham, WA. This community features numerous activities from small town craft shopping to hiking and sight seeing. You can rent a water craft (sail, kayak, board) from the nearby Community Boating Center. It is located on the water near the south end of Bellingham. Trails along the water lead... More

We drove through this little town, nothing was open yet, however, we have decided to come back late Spring or early Summer, looks like a fun place to explore with all the interesting shops we saw.

I love this little district. It was our first trip to Bellingham and this was by far my favorite location. Great restaurants, cute little shops, wonderful wine bars, etc. I can't wait to go back!
