Description:

The Chelan Evening Farmers Market has four simple yet far-reaching goals:...

The Chelan Evening Farmers Market has four simple yet far-reaching goals: encouraging people to “eat local,” initiating living-wage farm jobs, facilitating new young farmers, providing an “event of merit” for downtown Chelan. What to expect: Chelan valley's only evening Farmers Market with over 17 vendors, many certified organic or on their way to it, sell their produce at the market. Depending on the week, you may find the expected: tomatoes, peppers, herbs, plums, peaches, cherries, apples; the unexpected: hummus, goat cheese, lavender and other flowers; and the unusual: gooseberries, currants, wine and wool. One of the many special aspects of shopping at farmers’ markets is getting to know the farmers and vendors that work so hard to bring their beautiful offerings to market.

You can get fresh vegetables and fruit , and locally made crafts.I especially like hearing the music , normally just one person playing a guitar and singing. It's a great way to enjoy the downtown park. You can sit on a park bench , look at... More

Every Thursday many farmers and other vendors from the greater Chelan area come together and have a farmers market. It's a great market. You can find many usual and unusual fruits and veggies. There is also a variety of other booths as well. Bakery goods, fresh breads, locally made cheese, beautiful flowers, jewelry, art & much more. Definitely a must... More
