We traveled to the head of Lake Chelan on Lady of the Lake this past week. Lady II was broken down so we were all crammed onto Lady Express. Originally they were going to put some of the overflow people on the Lady Cat but...More

We took the express Lady of the Lake from Stehekin. Leaving at 12 noon to arrive Chelan 2:30pm. After every one left one our bags was missing. The first accusation was that we put the bag in the wrong location at the dock at Stehekin....More

Did you place your luggage by the down lake signs or did a staff member of the Resort you stayed at do that for you? We are only aware of one case last week, but others handled the luggage, not the owners of the luggage....More

We took the local ferry up to Stehekin and the express ferry back to Chelan. It was a pleasant 4 hr ride up and 3 hr back to Chelan. The staff were friendly on the ferry and the captain was very informative about specific landmarks...More

The express is much, much faster and actually follows the schedule. The others are likely to be late (over an hour) and you will be met with a shrug and the comment that the schedule varies. Crews aren't particularly friendly either.More

Although it happens very infrequently, the Lady II serves the flag stops on the lake, which include hiker stops at Prince Creek and Moore Point, along with some personal cabins along the way. This can make the boat late if we have multiple flag stops...More

We booked our tickets online for the express boat to Stehekin and the slower boat back. Initially, we hoped for express both ways, but in hindsight greatly enjoyed a bit more time in Stehekin and the relaxing return. The area is beautiful and pristine with...More

Great review of how to truly enjoy the lake and Stehekin. You are correct, you ended up with the best option for a day trip, as you get 3 hours in Stehekin and there is plenty to do and enjoy in that time, including just...More

I really enjoyed the ride, but with little ones, grandchildren ages 4, 6, and 10, a little too long. I'd recommend the express. The crew was very professional and friendly. Even let the grandkids steer the boat. The galley was good, but with a 10...More

I spent the day on Lady of the Lake II on its journey to and from Stehekin. The boat is comfortable and the cruise interesting as one gradually leaves behind modern amenity and journeys into natural beauty. Most of the passengers were hikers about to...More

The tickets are about $45 round trip on the slow boat and about $60 on the fast boat. They have a web site with the current rates and timetables.
