Mud Mountain Dam is more than an earthen dam. It's a playground, picnic area, hiking area. The playground has a wading pool for the kiddos. It's a great place to go for a picnic/BBQ. You may also get to see some wildlife!

Nice wading pool and swings etc. for the kids. Lots of areas to throw balls for the dogs. A bit of hiking on flat land for the seniors.

On our way up to Mud Mountain we almost got hit by a car coming around one of the sharp blind corners. Please stay on your side of the road while driving up the mountain, it can be dangerous. Once you get there, its a wonderful place to take your children to play on a hot summer day or even... More

This has been a favorite of ours for many years. There's a short hike down to a viewpoint (moderately difficult on the way back up), a longer hike that snakes into the woods (easy), a water feature for younger kids in the summertime, lots of sheltered picnic tables, and three sets of Big Toys. However, they recently removed one of... More

We have been going to Mud Mountain dam for 40+ years. It has some great picnic shelters and a great play set for kids. They also have Awatere feature in the summer to cool off under.

Took one of the trails near the entrance to the park. Easy parking, dog friendly. Don't encroach on Indian land nearby. Good historical info at the dam.

This is a great place to take the kids and play. There are two different play areas with several wide open fields. There are also several picnic covers with bbq. There is an other look to see the dam and reservoir.

Enjoy our annual family picnic here every year. Clean, well maintained. Wading pool and play equipment for the kids. Hiking trails nearby. Large areas for games. Shelters for protection from the sun or rain if you aren't lucky.
