I used to bring my kids here for school picnics- it is fine for that but the scenery is sparse compared to most of the other places you can hike or hang out around Enumclaw.

There is a small playground with a place play in the water. You could bring a picnic. A little bit of hiking but it's basically just a dam. It's free and very close to Enumclaw.

we love to take the grand children to play , we a have also had birthdaypartys there as well....the area is open and clean, with fun swings and slides... but the best is the walk to see the water under the view site.... try it...More

Mud Mountain Dam is more than an earthen dam. It's a playground, picnic area, hiking area. The playground has a wading pool for the kiddos. It's a great place to go for a picnic/BBQ. You may also get to see some wildlife!

This has been a favorite of ours for many years. There's a short hike down to a viewpoint (moderately difficult on the way back up), a longer hike that snakes into the woods (easy), a water feature for younger kids in the summertime, lots of...More
