The walk up is steep, first on a gravel trail and then up the drive from the Coast Gard station but the view from the lighthouse is beautiful. You may even get a chance to chat with the Coast Guard officer that is on look-out...More

It's a short hike through the woods up to the lighthouse point. The views of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean are absolutely breathtaking!

We enjoyed the various scenic vistas as we hiked up to the lighthouse. We encountered two male fawns grazing near the lighthouse who weren't frightened of us being nearby. A must see!

This is not a lighthouse that you can climb It does however provide a great Vista for views of the Columbia River Delta or bar. No whales but lots of fisherman today
