Wonderful pleasant walk along tree lines paths or along the lake beach front. In season snack bars for the hungry and thirsty. Very dog friendly with abundant picnic benches and grills. A great place to see families enjoying each other rather than some electronic device.

This park has changing rooms, a beach, kayak and SUP rentals. Great place in the Summer but also has nice paths by the lake for Winter walks.

In the summertime, this is a happening spot, as there are so many water sports to enjoy. My favorite is a kayak ride with friends, as it's quiet, cool and refreshing, while taking in the natural beauty of the Pacific NW.

The park is a very good place for bbq as the bbq stations are scattered everywhere. Alots of parking spaces. Very larege sand area on the beach, and large kids playing area. You need diacover pass.

Large picnic areas that are awesome for picnics or birthday gatherings. decent swim area and lots of trails. You do need a state park discovery pass in order to visit.

Could not find a clean area to put the picnic blanket down. Too bad because the location is good. Has a nice playgrounds and a couple of swimming beaches. But, simply said the goose faces are a turn-off.

This is a state park so a discovery pass is required. The sand area for the kids is perfect. Flat, a lot of water line. The sea weed does tend to build up along the shore though so you do kind of have to kick...More

This fairly attractive body of water is usually empty of sailboats, swimmers or happy crowds. Cold, black water and the history of Ted Bundy( murdered a local girl here) does not help. Go to the San Juan islands for lakes.

Yes, you can buy a discover pass as you enter the park. There is limited staffing in the winter so I'm not sure of the protocol then. Enjoy Welcome to Wa State

Go to the Washington State Parks webpage. There are links and phone numbers you can call. I recommend you do this early as the park fills up with reservations for birthdays and family outings.
