This was my first time flying with Steve and Parafly. He came highly recommended from an experienced paraglider friend and I'm so glad I chose Steve over the more local outfit that seems to dominate the launch site. If you want a truly hands-on experience, Steve is the best. He explained everything in the easiest way. It was a no... More

Capable, knowledgeable, experienced. He added many personal stories and pointed out landmarks during our flight. It was fun and entertaining. You'll be in great hands flying with Steven Wilson!

Steve was great.. My 1st time & he made me feel very comfortable & at ease. If your going to jump off a mountain you want to feel comfortable & safe with your pilot. He was quick responding back when I had questions during the pre-booking, day of, and after. He warned "it's addicting" & it is. I will be... More

Steve is a great guy, good teacher and made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. He explained a lot of what air currents were and how to make the most of them on our flight. Huge Thumbs up to Steve. If you want to give this a try, Steve's your guy.

I always think the best vacation experiences combine a little education with something exciting, and Steve's the right kind of guy to provide that: the ride is a thrill, he's incredibly knowledgeable about the sport, and he's also a good teacher. He explained every step in the process, which not only puts you at ease, but teaches you a thing... More

Steve was AMAZING. My husband had Owen and raved about him! We had a blast. We went paragliding in Oregon but this was way better. The view was incredible! They let us try flying a little and they did some acrobatics! We were up for about an hour but we got super lucky with the weather! Thanks so much and... More

I contacted Steve for a tandem flight surprise birthday present for my boyfriend. He was AMAZING! Serious professional! I felt completely at ease with him and so did my boyfriend. He was very timely and extremely helpful during pre-flight preparation. He made sure we got the best possible fight available with the weather conditions. Very knowledgeable and clear in his... I met with Steven from Parafly Paragliding on a beautiful day in June. Although I've gone parasailing and hang gliding, tandem, this was the first time I had gone paragliding, tandem. Steven was very professional, and paid close attention to safety details. Not only did he explain how he was maneuvering the paraglider, he was also pointing out landmarks in... More

***BEWARE****- Not every flight is a long one or even a medium one for that matter. Mine only lasted 10 minutes. After trying to work out a day to go, we finally got a 'perfect' day to fly. As we were waiting to be shuttled up, clouds started to come in. It had me feeling anxious but steve reaffirmed its... More

Steven W, Owner at Parafly Paragliding, responded to this review

As Anthony points out, we cannot control the weather nor the length of flights. Our focus is on making sure that we can launch and land safely, and since we do not have an engine we can't go up at will. All gliders always go down. We rely on a combination of wind and solar heating to create lift to... More
