I live here and was quite surprised to find such a classy museum. It is very well organized, well lit, and has a wide range of items as well as exhibits dealing with local culture. I wish there were a few more explanations for items.

This month has been a wonderful exhibition about the Hispanics in Skagit County. Very informative and great to see.

We didn't expect this county museum to be so captivating...spent over an hour and a half here. Take your time browsing in pieces of history, especially the Hispanic connection.

This is a great little museum packed with history about Skagit County. It gives a great overview of how the area was settled, and one can really appreciate the hard work our ancestors did to settle this area into the beautiful place we have today....More

not bad for a farming country museum. i really enjoyed the exhibit of how it used to be, how the land was cleared by hard working enterprising swedes. They change the exhibits throughout the year. It's good place to take out of towners.
