This park is always so well taken care of! It's big enough that you can enjoy it with your dogs or kids and not worry about issues (our dogs aren't always fans of little kids..."sticky hands = bath" which is not what they're into) you can walk, bike, stroll, etc. Enjoy the water and atmosphere.

Each time we visit Leavenworth we walk down the hill and into the park from our condo. It is so relaxing seeing the clear water, birds and scenery. It has always been a peaceful time and have always enjoyed it.

Don't miss this relaxing riverfront and Blackbird Island trail walk. Interpretive signs all along the way educate walkers about the flora and fauna to be found. If you walk quietly, you may come across Bambi and his mamma.

Yeah just a park with the river. Good thing is that its a walking distance from Front street. Its a view of the river with the mountains. Park and trail was clean. Nothing special. Still good to see since its not really a hassle and far to go here.

In March although the path was still a bit snowy and muddy, it seemed the perfect spot for wildlife. So close to the village! Viewpoints and informative signs were helpful for those who braved the end of winter conditions. It would be interesting to visit during the other three seasons!

Enjoyed the early morning walk in the park along the river. Early spring in Leavenworth with melting snow, too early for budding, but clear day and sunshine made it very nice.

Get away from all the downtown tourists for a riverside walk. A nice trail with open grassy areas, flat and easy. Interesting signs explaining the forest growth and nature. Only 5 minutes to get there and then you can walk for up to about 30 mins if you want to see it all. We met only a couple of residents... More

This is a great scenic little spot to get in a few miles of flat terrain with the pups and/or kids. There are plenty of spots to drink in the views of the river and enjoy some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

The park is laid out so you can do a loop walk. It goes alongside the river with nice views down the valley. It connects with the golf course ski area and the park is groomed so you can use it for snow shoeing, XC skiing or walking. It loops around to the ballfields where there is a hill kids... More
