The Nutcracker Museum was worth visiting if you have any interest in nutcrackers. The collection is vast and amazing. The cost to enter is quite reasonable.

This is a huge collection of all types of nutcrackers from different eras, dating back to the Renaissance. Definitely worth the small $5 admission.

Unbelievable number of nutcrackers. The video was most informative. The nutcracker museum is a must see in Leavenworth. There is a scavenger hunt to keep the kids attention.

We passed by this place and was hesitant at first to pay a small fee of $5. Since Active military are free, I told my hubby to check it out and see if it worth it. He came back and told us that since it was all family then we are free. Glad we came. It was an awesome collection... More

Walking in you see nutcrackers everywhere - but that is only the beginning! The collection is huge and includes more than nutcrackers. There are items from the 1600's and up to today in the collection. From wood to metal to ceramic, the nutcrackers are amazing.

It's a museum dedicated to the history, craft and artistry involved in nutcrackers. We allowed ourselves to really delve into the background, culture and craftsmanship that was displayed and we tasked ourselves to each learn three things we didn't know and pick out our favorite nutcracker! For me...it was Woody Goomsba...just Google him and you'll understand! You can only sample... More

All you ever wanted to know about the fine art of cracking nuts and the many different and unique ways to accomplish that. Probably one of the most complete collections of nutcracking devices anywhere. From the very earliest to the latest designs with many ornate designs. Even classes on how to create your own nutcracker from scratch.

The Nutcracker Museum has always been on our list when visiting Leavenworth and during the last visit we finally were able to go. It's located on the second floor of the building and looks small upon entry. In truth, it's not huge but they have carefully fit a TON of nutcrackers into limited space. The volunteers are kind and clearly... More

My kids adore nutcrackers, especially my youngest one, so this was a great adventure for her to explore. The amount of nutcrackers was pretty overwhelming and definitely FUN!
