Love this beach, with the 8 mile bike trail along the dunes, and the bay on the other side, and Cape Disappointment to explore: all near Astoria, Oregon if you want a big "city";-)

We always love going to Long Beach. Lots of shops, state parks, light houses in Ilwaco and a great beach of 26 miles to explore. A great vacation for couples, families, etc. Golfing, horse back riding, clam digging in the right season, parks, biking, bird...More

This is a vast and amazing beach, clearly beloved by locals and visitors. Bring your beach chairs, towels, bucket, and shovel, because you will want to stay all day. It's a great place to fly a kite, run your dog, and just relax. Also, there...More

over 3 hours we saw the sheriff go by once and beach patrol twice, cars were being safe and everyone was thoughtful about watching for kids playing in the sand. The kids rode bikes and had a blast

So many activities how can you choose? Super long beaches you can drive on, skim boarding, clamming, kite flying, kite buggies, shopping, museums, go carts, bumper boats, arcades, and fishing. What's not to love! Best vacation ever! Lots of action!
