I love this area so much I am moving to it. Seriously. Yes it has tourist, but not overcrowded like Cannon Beach. Can't wait to get there.

We were in Long Beach for a geocaching event that took us from one end of the peninsula and back. Beautiful beaches, beach walk that is paved, great restaurants and sights

Long Beach is a great year-round place to visit the ocean. Every season offers a variety of outside and inside activities with accomodation rates having high-low season rates. There are many restaurants & shops. The Boardwalk offers magnificent views of the ocean. The greater Long Beach Peninsula offers many places to explore--Oysterville, the Wildlife Sanctuary, Jack's Hardware, Lewis & Clark... More

Long Beach is just a nice town. There is positively something for everyone of all ages. You cannot go wrong with either a romantic weekend getaway or a family vacation for a week. Most everything is within walking distance and the sights that aren't are still close driving wise. Always a pleasure to visit Long Beach - thank you and... More

Long Beach is not for those that want wild nightlife or the hustle and bustle of a tourist laden town. Although there are many tourists that visit Long Beach, I have never seen it crowded above that little town feeling. Akari Bungalows are always our first choice for lodging, although we have also stayed at Adrift Hotel which is very... More

Quaint Northwest Pacific beach town. Lots of fun shopping, delicious foods to sample, walk-able main street with fun atmosphere. There are carnival rides and go carts for the kids. Parking is accessible. Great homemade fudge in many and unusual flavors.

We weren't expecting much but the Long Beach name doesn't disappoint. The little one street town has plenty of little shops and okay restaurants (great bakery!). The crab legs at the Castaway Grill were buttery fresh. Find the beach entrance and take your car out on the sand. I recommend not trying to 'spin out', especially if you're in a... More

there are lots of ocean front cities along wa coast but long beach is the one that we keep returning to. While ocean shores has its place, our kids seem to get bored quicker than at long beach. I believe part of the reason is long beach has a more robust downtown that offers quite a bit more variety in... More

Beautiful, clean and dog-friendly beach with stunning views! There is something for all age levels, from walking the boardwalk to riding the bike path, shopping, restaurants, playing on the beach, and even a cute movie theater.
