My girlfriend and I enjoyed a late winter visit to Chelan and the surrounding area. Among several wineries we stopped at Hard Row to Hoe. It is a small, attractive and productive winery, offering a number of very good Washington varieties. We sampled three and found each one delightful. While sipping, we were told about the colorfully R-rated history of... More

Found this place a few years ago and have always enjoyed the show and the ambiance of it but the best part is the wine! The owners and employees are fun, down to earth people. I love supporting a business with great people and a great product. I'm part of the wine club and super enjoy taking all my visitors... More

We ventured out during our Chelan visit to a few wineries. Hard Row was an excellent stop. We met Don Phelps, one of the owners, and he entertained us with stories about how the winery was started, the branding for the wines and the decor in the tasting room. Highly entertaining story. We purchased Chardonnay, Cab Franc, Syrah, Miss de... More

Several years ago... The minute we drove up, I knew we were stepping in to something wonderful! So many tasty choices of wines, port, cider to choose from. The decor is fun and perfect for the story behind the wine names. The owners and staff are friendly, fun and knowledgeable about wine! Repeated trips are a must!

We almost skipped this one because a we came through here a few years ago and didn't have a good experience. Man, are we glad we gave it a second chance. We stopped in for fall barrel tasting and ended up with shares in an unfinished Petit Sirah as well as a few other bottles. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Good wines.... More

This may be one of the best small wineries in the entire Chelan Valley AVA, family owned and operated. You won't be disappointed when you make this winery your next destination.

Not the usual wine tasting - the room is decorated with old time brothel gifts and posters. Great staff

Danielle was our wine tasting host and was very informative. Fairly new winery with some sass and spunk. Settled on 'shameless hussy' white and their port. Both easy drinking and sampling port in chocolate cups made for complimentary tasting of port and chocolate, a pairing that is always great. Tasting room is small and limited to 3 groups of 7... This is a very nice tasting room. They also have a tasting room in Leavenworth. Danielle was very accommodating and helpful with our choice since we only like sweet wines. There is nice outdoor covered seating as well as well as others with an umbrella to enjoy the outdoors. There are games on the grass and plenty of parking next... More

Their wine is actually quite good! Some may be surprised about quality of the wine since the history that their theme is built upon is rather risqué or at least not for Tiny ears. Yet, the storyline is based on factual events and personalities which lived and worked across Lake Chelan from each other some time back in the regional... More
