On a guided kayak tour we'll watch for bald eagles, harbor seals, river otters, sea birds, and an amazing variety of tidal sea life as we ply the waters of the San Juans. We use double kayaks, fiberglass, with all equipment provided.

We were looking for a kayak tour with a personal guide for our family of 4 (sons ages 11 & 15) vs. a group tour with other tourists. We also wanted a 2-hour excursion vs. a 3-hour tour with the other, larger kayak tour companies on the island. Spring Bay Kayak Tours fit the bill! And it was far less... More

Four of us took a recent kayak tour and had a great time with Spring Bay Kayaking. Sandy did a marvelous job of preparing us and guiding us on our tour. She pointed out several landmarks, and provided us with some of the history around the islands. She was mindful of our needs, and the fact that we were not... More

We had a big group (12 of us). Sandy was our guide and was able to guide all of us, even as beginning kayakers, through beautiful Obstruction Pass. The drive was about 25 minute from the main part of Orcas Island which is Eastsound. Totally worth the drive. We only paid $40 a person. Was happy to tip this great... More

We kayaked with Sandy as our guide. It was our first kayaking experience and was so much fun. She taught us loads, had fabulous local knowledge and it really felt like she was actually a dear friend. We would love to go back. I will hold the memory of this in my heart always. A wonderful part of the world.

Carl was a great tour guide. We ended up with a private tour due to cancellations. Carl is VERY knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about the island and had a great time kayaking at a leisurely pace. Great value for your cash.

We did a two hour family trip with them in July 08. Before we started, Sandy made she we were all properly fitted with spray skirts, and asked us how hard we wanted to work, easy trip, medium, or hard paddle. We chose medium, being somewhat experienced paddlers, and that's exactly what it was. The location of the inn is... More
