Love going to the market because of the meats, produce and the fun atmosphere of the place. There are usually performances on stage during the weekend and lots of food to pick from, whether it's already made or produce, seafood and meats to take home...More
It's the place to go on the weekend. Lots of Christmas gift ideas for all ages and interests can be found here. Plenty of food stalls where you can grab a lunch. Recommend going across the street to Batdorf for a great coffee place.
Olympia Farmer's market is always a great place to browse, sample and purchase locally grown produce and Art's & Crafts. The environment is always calm & friendly. I especially enjoy listening to the live music and the prepared foods while shopping! Great place by the...More
This would be 5 stars if the food vendors would take credit cards. However, there is a gyro spot that I would say is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The selection of fruits, vegetables, and the jams are some of my...More
We moved here ten years ago and enjoyed it right away. We like the variety of vendors from meat, fruit, bakery, crafts and different seasonal options. I feel there's more variety than the past but like everywhere else prices have gone up so it's not...More
Lots of great vendors, from flowers, to meats, to homemade jewelry, paintings and wall hangings, to fresh fruit and vegetables, to dairy and chocolate there is something for everyone. Did I mention it is mostly from small, local farms--fresh as could be! Made you hungry?...More
Lived in the area for years and finally stopped by. Wow! Cant believe I waited so long. Couple of food vendors to choose from but we tried the German stand and a vegetarian type for our picky eater. German food was ok (then again I...More

Pets are not permitted at the Market although Service Animals should be allowed. It is a lovely area to bring our small, male Dachshund. He is quite sociable, likes the company, and loves to "graze," or as I say, "he is a Hoover." Nevertheless, he would be underfoot; is hard to notice by others since he's short, & each of these factors can cause all kinds of havoc. The numerous food stands, fresh pastries, produce, and meats available are not a good match for a pleasant time for the humans. I wouldn't want a pet in that mix unless it were a very well trained service dog (to accommodate a person with a disability).
Hours vary by time of year. It is open on Saturdays year round. It is open on Saturday and Sunday from about October to January. Then, it is open Thursday through Sunday from about June through October.
