This is a really nice small aviation museum. They have some really cool aircraft and a lot of great historical items, many WWII. They have a large collection of scale models, and cases with interesting items. This is certainly worth a visit if you like military history or airplanes. The people are very friendly, they have some nice hands-on airplanes... More

Been awhile since we have visited the Flight Museum. Every year they sponsor the airshow that we enjoy watching since we live within 2 miles of the Olympia Airport.

Out family isn't greatly into planes (my sons complained bitterly about the longhaul flight to get over the ocean). However, they were kept very entertained and interested by the displays and my wife and I by the very knowledgeable curator, who couldn't do enough to explain the displays and planes. All the planes in the building still operate! I preferred... More

Small but very nice museum. The aircraft were in pristine condition. Our 6 y.o. son liked climbing in the helicopter outside.

The Olympic Flight Museum is located on the east side of the Olympia Regional Airport (KOLM for you pilot types). They have an interesting collection of aircraft and host an annual air show. In 2016 it will be Father's Day weekend. One highlight is the pictured P-51D Mustang. Another is the only flying Husky helicopter in the world (at least... More

I love to hit military museums when I travel and this one was great. The staff was really friendly and gave me access to stuff I probably wouldn't have had the chance at. All of the planes in the hanger are flyers and they will be performing at the Olympic Air Show in June so if you are around, go... More

We stopped here between downtown Seattle and Great wolf lodge visit. Clean, spacious, and cool exhibits. Walking through Air Force one and space shuttle trainer were highlights.
