It was cozy and warm inside, especially the first two nights which were windy and rainy. Only thing is our heater died the third night, but park staff was nice enough to lend us a free-standing heater. Beds are not the most comfortable, so I recommend bringing an egg-crate mattress and of course your own sheets and sleeping bags. The... More

Sites are intended for large RV's. No privacy as they are all lined up together. But there are few other camping options and the beach is right at hand. Showers too.

We visited this park as a scouting trip for future camping trips. The camp spots are mostly for trailers. Some have water and electric; I don't believe any have sewer hook-ups. Bathrooms were nice and clean. This park is located right on the beach, with only a few hundred feet to walk, and uninterrupted views of the coast. A small... More

We go down there every year, and we see the people that stay around there, mainly at the campgrounds with kids seem to leave their trash all over. I am constantly picking up stuff people leave, such as kids pails, and shovels, drink containers etc. It is too bad, as it is a nice beach. Also cars on the beach... More

This is a lovely park. We dry camped here with the surf at our fingertips then moved to an upper site wit water and electricity with a very short walk to the beach. Loved every minute!

Park is excellent for overnight RV stays. Tents are OK too. Unlike many other Washington State Parks campgrounds, the sites are not very private and somewhat close together. The wide open nature does give many sites direct views of the Pacific Ocean and the beach, and many sites have a "peek-a-boo" view somehow. It's adjacent to a river, but the... More

My daughter just got married on the beach last month and it was beautiful. It has always been her dream to have a beach wedding and Pacific beach was the perfect spot.

We love Pacific Beach State Park! It is our favorite beach weekend get-a-way and have been several times this year already. While it is true that it has electric only hook ups it more than makes up for any small inconveniences of using your own water in your RV tanks by its very location and close beach access. If it... If location is everything, this park has RV spots right behind the beach with easy access (no climbing up and over dunes) to the Pacific. So for that reason this may rate five stars. But compared to Oregon State Parks which are less expensive and free showers and full hookups, this would rate three stars. They had electric only and... More

This park fills up fast! Has a great water view. Love walking the beach and flying kites. Nice to come to for quiet and relax.
