This is a nice little hike. Some online reviews say the road is awful but it is fine, just take it a bit slow in the pothole section (did it in a rental sedan, no problems). The view from the lookout is stunning, just stunning....More

Beautiful views at the top but last few hundred feet were dangerous. Only attempt this if u can physicallyscramble over a smooth rock face.

Like other reviewers have noted, the trailhead can be difficult to find. Our GPS wasn't working way up in those hills so be sure to have your map at the ready. We went on a Friday and didn't see a single car on our way...More
