We went to a wedding here and it was gorgeous. Lots of walking, but very unique and historical. Well kept grounds and buildings too. I enjoyed myself but got cold, and tired of standing, but sure enjoyed ourselves.

We took our dog to Fort Worden State Park for a walk on the beach. Being midweek, it was quiet and peaceful. After Molly ran on the beach, we sat on a big log and watched the waves. The restrooms at the campground are bright...More

Always love to walk the beach, check out the bunkers, and wow what a view of the Whidbey Island fighter jets! Great for walks with the dogs, a nice tennis court, great camp sites, and beauty of the Strait of Jaun de Fuca!

Well worth the visit. Easy walk from the main level down to the beach and dock. We picknicked there, too.

I'm a fan of the 80's movie, so this was lots of fun for me! Very well preserved and great place to take photos of places where the movie was filmed. Officers quarters have been restored and converted to nightly rentals.

Sorry - I don't know their policy about cancellations because I live nearby. Contact them right away though, so someone else can take the spot. They are in high demand I hear.
