Great place to come walk along the shore and get the view of Lake Washington. We come here with our two year old and he loves watching the ducks and seeing the boats out on the lake. We often stop in at Ivar's while we are here as a bonus!

It is a beautiful clean park on Lake Washington. There is plenty of playground equipment for the kids. There are volleyball courts. The beach is freshwater with lifeguards during the summer. I love to eat at Ivar's. At Christmastime I round up my family to see the Clam Lights.

This is my favorite park in Renton. Lots of family activities and great walking/running along the lake shore. It gets crowded in the summer but go early if you like it quiet. Winter is also a great time to visit.

I have lived in the neighborhood for over 40 years and have watched this park develop over that time. It is an excellent place for walking, swimming, playing with kids and just hanging out by the water. Parking can be a problem for special events, of which there are many including some of the best 4th of July fireworks around.... More

Locals treasure this park. One of the casual Ivar's seafood restaurants sits on a jutting dock, it's seating area open on three sides during nice weather. Grab some fish, chips and chowder and eat in or take your food to one of many tables and benches scattered around the park. Kidd Valley burgers are there too. The park offers sandy... More

Launch your boat onto Lake Washington, take the kids to the sandy beach, or enjoy the sunset on one of the walking paths.

This is a local hangout for us. Lots of great amenities for all ages. The only complaint is the water quality in the swimming area, pretty sure that is due to all the water fowl & Canadian geese. Not much you can do to fix that. Overall a great hangout.

We were so happy to find this park! We were in town for a wedding, staying in a nearby hotel, and suffering in the 95-degree freakish heat wave last week. Then lo and behold - a swimming beach! With actual sand, and grass, and walking trails - and no doggie poops to avoid (dogs not allowed in this park)! Thank... More
