This was a very tastefully-done tribute to one of the absolute legends of rock music. There weren't other visitors there while we were there but it apparently generates some traffic. Others left mementos at the gravesite.

Since Jimi is local and I am of that era, I had to check this out. Interesting that it isn't just for him, it's for anyone in his family and there are many spots waiting for family to join him. Family has famously quarreled about his legacy but this is a nice and peaceful place not too far as the... More

After visiting the Jimi Hendrix Experience back in 2011, it was only right for me to pay my respects to the memorial. Very nice and well put together. If you are in the area, definitely a must see.

This is a monument to local son and genius musician, Jimi Hendrix, of which I'm proud to see him honored in this way. As a resident of Renton I take every opportunity to visit this 'temple to a messenger of change' and one of those gifted guitarist/musician who will never be equalled in the totality of his artistry.

I was fortunate enough to see Jimi in concert. When I moved to Renton, and found out he was buried here, I knew I had to pay a visit to this rock legend.

As a lifelong Hendrix fan, his gravesite was high up on my list of places I wanted to visit before I check out for good. It was well worth the wait. The monument is very classy...a loving memorial to Jimi, and a great place to just linger and contemplate what he meant to the music world. There were 4 of... More

Jimi is in a great spot. Must see rock icon. My brother and I are both huge fans and on his first visit to Seattle, his first stop was to see his brother, and his next stop was to see Jimi. It's a nice little outing and for a cemetery, a nice memorial to visit.

My first trip to see Jimi's grave was on the anniversary of his death. That was 20+ years ago, before the grave was moved. The area now has a beautiful monument that is engraved with his image. There are benches so you can sit and contemplate. I live near by and stop in a couple times a year. Worth the... More

What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful musician. It's surreal and though he was gone before I was born, his music has touched my heart. His memorial is well kept, clean and visited often by many paying tribute to the late great Jimi.
