Ate breakfast at the lodge overlooking the Falls and then walked down the beautiful boardwalk to take beautiful photos and experience the tremendous sound of the falls, as the spray from the roaring water cooled the entire area.

We stopped here on a trip to Seattle, and were amazed at the volume of water gushing down this waterfall. We ate lunch at the Attic at Salish Lodge with a great top down view of the falls.

The falls themselves aren't massive, but the surrounding scenery and tranquility makes this absolutely worth checking out! Drive to the lower area and walk the path back to the falls, it's really lovely!

The parking closest to the falls are $5. For a 5 min or less walk on a bridge across the highway, the parking is free.

No! Security lines are very long at the Seattle airport. You have to be the type that doesn't get nervous with traffic.
