It was a short 30 minute drive from Seattle. Free parking across from the lodge. Great view from the path. We did not eat at the cafe, but I understand you can get great pancakes. It’s a must do and it’s free!

So, I was really hesitant to even go here, seeing that it was a overcast rainy day. I really wanted to be outdoors though. Being from Alaska, I hardly ever get to do any hiking in the wintertime. My significant other said hey why not,...More

Lovely! There are many different viewing areas to take pictures. It’s really too beautiful to describe. A must see for any Twin Peaks fan as well. Salish Lodge is walking distance and there is plenty of parking.

Worth the drive from Seattle. Amazing site to see and a neat little town with shops and restaurants. Will try to go again in warmer weather but it was well worth the spectacular view.

Great but isn't something you would drive along distance ,there is not much to do once you get there I recommend searching for near by attractions before going there and visiting them all at once

The fall is very nice, and the fun part about it that even if you visted more than once a year you will find it a lil but different because the level of water depends on when you go, for example going on summer is...More

As far as I know it’s free to enter the falls. We didn’t encounter anyplace to pay an entrance fee.

You can definitely plan it by yourselves. A tour company isn't necessary, unless of course, you're using them for transportation to and from the Falls.
