Beautiful scenery and spectacular water falls. This is a great day trip from the Seattle area. The falls were spectacular and just above the falls lies a spa and resort type hotel with a nice restaurant. A short hike from the top will take you down to the base of the falls for some nice views along a boardwalk. Down... More

Beautiful hotel, falls and a wonderful spa! I highly recommend the stone massage. The food in the main restaurant is delish! For a more relaxed dinning experience try the Attic upstairs. There is usually live music on Friday & Saturday.

Perfect for a nice day trip from Seattle. The drive was pleasant. The town was small and the waterfalls has toilet facilities. Lots of water from all the rain. Take a 0.5 miles hike to see the river bank. Lots of walk uphill.

The viewpoints near the top of the falls are often PACKED . Bring your hiking boots and make the half mike hike to the river . It was steep but well worth the time, views from the river are wonderful. Plenty of room at the rivers edge to get a great view of the falls. If you have a few... More

We started our Seattle visit with Snoqualmie Falls. It is less than an hour drive from Seattle. It's wonderful to watch gushing white waters falling from ground level to a gorge down 270 feet below. Although it was a rainy day, We found the place SURPRISINGLY SPECTACULAR. One can plan if have time and vehicle.

The Snoqualmie Falls has been running at a very heavy pace with all of this year's rain and snow. While it's wonderful to watch at any level of water, it's spectacular when it's running heavy!

We did an early morning hike and it was pleasant with a lot of cool plaques explaining the history and function of the hydroelectric plant. The viewpoints are often PACKED in the summer, but on this Thursday morning in March we saw maybe two other people.
